Now that the technology is accessible, George Lucas and Industrial Light and Magic have decided to give “Star Wars” the 3-dimensional treatment. “Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” could be the first “Star Wars 3-D” movie to be launched. The chronological order of the story will be followed as the series is released. There aren’t too numerous theaters that have 3-D capabilities right now. Each year more and more movie theaters get 3-dimensional capabilities. In fact, there are about 500 each year changing. This technology is blossoming into its adolescence as more films are released in 3-D. It is not known whether “Indiana Jones” or the “Clone Wars” DVD series will get 3-d updates for theatrical release.
